Fraud? Perjury? Felony?
Extreme lengths to go to for some disabled parking badges.
Betty Bell who was Justice of the Peace for over two decades allegedly committed fraud when she used her dead mother's name on an application for two disabled parking badges. When caught Bell then allegedly perjured herself by falsely claiming to have been on a sting operation. If convicted she will face felony charges and up to two years in jail.
Hahaha, sorry about all of those 'allegedlies'. Had also just read of a woman who is being sued for a blog on the dangerous construction practices of the company that built her housing development. Now they are suing her for billions, even though what she documented was truthful and had been applauded by her local government. Crazy world.
