Those of you who have seen Murderball know just how incredible quad rugby can be. This is a fast paced full contact sport.
I've just discovered my local team, the Casco Bay Navigators, who are competing at the Brockton Brawl tournament this weekend. Go team!
Although I don't know where I'll ever find the money (and the thought of a 30 hour flight makes me a bit ill) but I would absolutely love to go and cover the 2006 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships. Miss Mumpy will keep her fingers crossed. This year the WWRC is being held in Christchurch, New Zealand September 12-16.
Of course I would also love to go to see the Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy being held March 10-19 but I am sure that all accomodations in and around Torino have been booked for ages.
Murderball is such a good game for those who never thought that they can never enjoy their life anymore. That was something great, you were helping them too. Thanks for sharing anyways.

I've always loved extreme sports (I love to watch the X-games)and just fell in love with wc rugby as soon as I saw it.
I've been trying to get everyone I know to watch Murderball. The movie is action packed (the in-game footage is intense), the interviews with the guys are well done (no-holds-barred), and the bits of the film that jump over to Keith a newly injured quad going through rehab are not only emotional but REAL.
If I had to describe Murderball in one word I would have to call it RAW.

Not seen Murderball, really want to, but wc rugby is cool, rough, not for the faint hearted, but a whole lotta fun.
