With the Opening Ceremonies for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games today I am getting excited for a bit of Olympic Fever. I was especially pleased to discover that the Paralympic Games (March 10th-9th) are going to be available by webcast. W00t! Let the games begin.

The opening ceremonies were incredible yesterday! Unfortunately, I don't have cable or satelite and had to settle for the crappy NBC broadcast (it's all my bunny-ears can get). Where do they dig up these announcers??
I thought the torch lighting was a bit of a disapointment, I prefer the traditional touching of the flame that has been carried to the final torch, rather than this new pyrotechnic display.
What did others think?
I can't wait for the webcast of the Paralympic Games. Only 26 more days to go!
