...for laughing!
Matt Brown, who has Angelman syndrome, and his mother Susan went to watch the movie The Pink Panther. A comedy. Matt laughed during much of the movie which apparently annoyed other theater goers. The manager then asked them to leave since "Several members of the theater audience complained that the guest's outbursts were disruptive".
Oh good freaking god. That's downright proposterous. Not disability related, but similar to your story. I am a member of a public speaking group which takes place in a community centre. Across the hall at the same time is a yoga class. The instructor complained that we were too loud (we clap a lot!). Come on. It's a community centre!! I could understand if the person in the movie theatre were talking.. that would be annoying. But laughing is hardly something you can control like talking. And it's expected! I would have complained to the manager about it if I had been him. What's next? "No outside food, drink or abnormally loud laughter allowed in theatre". (Rolling eyes).
