Miss M, I have actually stood and watched an orthopedic surgeon jump up and down and stamp his little rubber bootees and shout "I WILL operate on this patient!" when the managers tried to tell him he'd run out of theatre time.

Too true CD. Mine act like this all the time. They just save having a few drinks for surgery days, to ah steady the nerves and all that. :)
