Visited the doctor's office again today. After some unpleasant tests that I will skip the details of the doctor I saw (I've worked my way through the entire practice now) broke the news that I don't have a urinary tract infection or a kidney infection. My problems are neurological and likely stem from additional problems further up my spine.
No way! No more spine related ailments. I mean really haven't I filled some kind of quota by now? Here I've been blaming my poor little kidneys. So I am now scheduled for an MRI of my thoracic spine. I'm a bit confused though because my spine is full of metal and I thought MRI's were not possible if you had any metal in your body. Well, I have a week to look into that further.
Thanks :) It's been a long week of waiting to have the scan. I just hope they don't keep me waiting for the results once it's done!
*keeping finger crossed for good results*

What's the worse tha could happen? When you go out and about you keep heading north?
And don't you feel silly now. You go ahead and apologize to those poor little kidneys.

Thanks AG! I'm glad to hear that about the implants. I've been told so many things and have had so many medical screw-ups happen that the thought of my implants being ripped out by a large magnet had me a bit nervous. :P

Apparently the implants they use now are MRI proof. I had an MRI last year even though I have a steel rod and screws holding my upper-left femur together. I didn't die.
I hope they figure out what the problem is and how to help you!
