Ever wonder where that transplant skin comes from? Here's an eye opening article about a woman who lost over 140 pounds and donated 50 pounds of her excess skin. According to the article this is a growing trend with over 200,00 people receiving skin grafts from weight loss patients last year.

Ewww...perhaps they could come up with a way to grow it in the lab or even better, grow it on plants. Hmmmm....o.k. having a bit of a nasty visual of what that plant would look like, perhaps the current method is best :)

I don't see why you'd be throwing up a little. If it didn't come off of living and robust pudgy folk it would be cadaver skin! I'd rather take the living stuff thanks.
